No Skidding Cast Aluminum stair tread nosings are non-corrosive, aesthetically appealing, and engineered to perform for the life of the building. Our cast aluminum nosings are manufactured from premium-grade aluminum and are free from holes or surface defects. Each unit features a consistent natural sand-cast finish with an embedded silicon carbide abrasive surface for enhanced slip resistance. Maintenance is simple: surfaces can be swept or cleaned using a general-purpose industrial floor cleaner, scrubbed with a stiff bristle brush, or pressure-washed at up to 1,000 psi to remove embedded dirt and debris.

Our cast aluminum stair nosings can be installed during new construction by embedding them as concrete is poured, or retrofitted onto existing stairwells and staircases as an added safety upgrade. Standard nosing depths are available in 3″ and 4″, with a thickness of 5/16″. Cast aluminum stair treads are offered in standard lengths of 36″, 48″, and 60″, with custom lengths available upon request. The abrasive grit is evenly dispersed across the surface, and the cross-hatched etching ensures uniform traction across the full tread area. All cast aluminum treads are supplied with integrated wing anchors for secure installation.
